Physician Assistant Expert Witnesses.
Vetted. Ready.
For Your Specific Case.

We connect attorneys with actively practicing Physician Assistant experts who have deep specialty knowledge and who are credible under cross-examination. The process should not take weeks. We do the vetting so you do not have to.

We do not offer access to a database. We deliver access to the right PA expert for the case.

Our Approach

Deliberate
Expert Alignment

Expert witness work influences legal decisions that affect patients, families, and practicing clinicians. ExpertWitnessPA was founded by a practicing Emergency Medicine PA with over two decades of clinical and healthcare leadership experience.

  • Curated, not crowdsourced. Invitation-only roster, never an open or self-listed directory.

  • Scored, not assumed. Every expert is evaluated against a defined vetting standard before joining the roster.

  • Active practitioners only. Every expert is currently practicing in their specialty.

  • Role-appropriate scope. Experts speak to point-of-service clinical decision-making and standard of care, never as a substitute for physician-level testimony.

  • Litigation-ready by design. Deposition history and case experience are reviewed before placement.

We do not match by keyword. We match by clinical depth, professional judgment, and the ability to hold up under cross-examination. Those are different standards and they produce different outcomes.

The Comparison

Why ExpertWitnessPA
vs. Other Networks

Most PA expert sources operate as open directories: anyone can list themselves, and the matching is done by keyword rather than judgment. ExpertWitnessPA was built to close that gap, with every expert individually vetted before they ever reach an attorney's inbox.

Criteria ExpertWitnessPA Typical Network

Practice status Currently practicing clinicians only May include non-practicing PAs

For Attorneys

How Engagement
Works

A straightforward, four-step intake designed to protect expert confidentiality until a case is formally engaged, while giving you what you need to make a decision quickly.

1
Request Submitted

You request an expert

Submit the case details, jurisdiction, and specialty required through the intake form. Each request is reviewed personally, with attention to the clinical issues at hand and the specific expertise the case calls for.

2
Match Delivered

You receive at least one blinded expert spotlight

Once a fit is identified, you receive one to three blinded spotlights of matched PA experts: specialty, clinical setting, years of practice, leadership background, and litigation history — everything needed to evaluate fit, with identity withheld.

3
Formal Engagement

You engage and pay the one-time engagement fee

If a spotlight is a fit, you complete the engagement form and remit the one-time engagement fee, communicated to you directly at the time of engagement based on the complexity of the case and scope of work. This is what formally engages the case and unlocks the expert's identity.

4
Full Access

You receive the unblinded profile and full file

Once the engagement form and fee are processed, we send the unblinded spotlight, the expert's direct contact information, current CV, and fee schedule — everything needed to begin working directly with the expert.

Unblinded spotlight Direct contact info Current CV Fee schedule

From that point forward, the expert contracts directly with retaining counsel. Every engagement is handled with professionalism, responsiveness, and discretion.
